    Description

Scott Catalog 517, 516, & 528A used as registered postage on a bank tag from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City cancelled Aug 27 1921 in Chicago and received Aug 28 1921 in Kansas City.
The stamps are cancelled by double oval killers in Chicago.  The killer must have been twisted upon application as the print is legible only on the 517 where you can barely see the "ILL" at left.  The tag shows use at the safety hole.
The 517 has 3 large margins.  The right margin is overlapped by the 516.  The 516 is centered fine.  The 528A is diagonally split or torn along the top center to the center right.
A 517 on cover in the Scott Catalog is listed at 0.00 in italics which means it is not often seen on cover.  The 516 is listed at 0.00.
