Use of oxygen is necessary if cabin pressurization is lost during high-altitude flight. This manual book goes over some of the oxygen systems on the Boeing 747-400 jumbo jet that was in service with Northwest Airlines. There are many diagrams & illustrations in this manual book.
NOV 02 is on the front cover of this manual book, so I guess November 2002 is around the time it may have been made or used.
