    2 1/2 Gallon (Empty) GUARDENE Copper Fire Extinguisher by PYRENE Mfg. Co. New York. Not sure on year. Rescued from local scrap yard 10yrs ago. Hose has damage near the top, possibly from use. See pics for condition (additional by request) approx. 16lb 24" tall. Has original bottle cage and bottle (lettering on bottle-fill to acid line) unique Brass screw top has "Passed by Chief Guerin" searched for similar tops/none found. Chief William Guerin nationally known as "The Father of Fire Prevention" In charge of New Yorks fire prevention and retired from  Dept. In 1913. Also employed by Pyrene.Has original patina ideal for restoration or as is for display. Please Message with questions or additional pics.
