N-SAPLI is a new Feature on our molding machines that can be toggled on and off thru the controller's interface. This feature changes the machines function from a traditional injection molding process to one that utilizes De-coupled molding and very low mold tonnage and injection pressure by monitoring the clamp position during injection. Thru this monitoring, one can see when the mold is being overcome by the injection pressure and thus allow the clamp to be dialed in to the precise tonnage to be used for an individual mold and act as a living vent at parting line. The machine then re-closes the mold after the initial injection causing the material to be moved into the cavities in a low stress environment creating near perfect clarity and cavity resemblance possible without Sinks, Warp, Burning.
All the while not taking away from the life of your tools by not using the full clamp tonnage or injection pressure needed for traditional molding.   In most cases, molds can be run with a third of the clamp force and half of the injection pressure.
