This is a rare "GENERAL QUICKAID FIRE GUARD - MODEL TS-15 SODA ACID" Antique All Brass Torpedo Shell Fire Extinguisher manufactured by the very famous
"General Detroit Corporation"
and has production marking on the front embossed brass plate for
Detroit 7, Michigan, New York, New York, Los Angeles, California, Chicago, Illinois, Atlanta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas, U.S.A.
The history of the production of this extinguisher is printed on the embossed brass plates right on the front.
This will make for a unique and perfect gift for any collector or fire fighter.  This beauty is very old as it is an

with the high gloss blue and red enamel paint restored!!!  These are the original colors for this type of Fire Extinguisher.  As the pictures so, this one is polished and its beautiful.

The original extinguisher hose is present and is clearly depicted within all of the photographs.
Further, as you can tell from the pictures, the bronze cap is cleaned, polished and restored with high gloss red enamel paint.  The cap is in great shape but one of the sides is slightly flatten and slightly deformed, and the original color has been restored.  Finally, the construction of this antique is rare and unique as it is an all-brass torpedo shell body.

original brass embossed plates
. The original high gloss red and blue enamel paint for the brass embossed plates has also been restored as well.  Literally, you will get history inside and out with this piece of fire fighting history.  THIS BEAUTY LITERALLY SHINES AND YOU CAN SEE YOURSELF IN THE BEAUTIFUL BRASS.

This wonderful piece of history has had had its original bronze cap restored.  This makes this antique truly unique and special.  The history of this antique in printed along the front and the bronze cap making this antique a wonderful piece of fire fighting history.
The front brass plates with high gloss blue and red enamel paint. Everything on this piece just shines and tells a fantastic story of fire fighting history.
This is a relatively low "6-digit" serial number is "811933" of the manufacturing run.  This one is low with and would date the antique to between 1914-1920.  This one would be a wonderful addition to any collection with a very low serial number, so DO NOT MISSO OUT!!!!.

was a tool to fight fires and condition of the brass shows it has been used to fight fires. Ultimately, the all-brass torpedo shell body and brass embossed plates shine to the point that you can see yourself in the metal
