    Description

    Antique brass CANBEC fire extinguisher. Manufactured by The American Canbec Company, Attleboro, Massachusetts, USA. Then Canbec Co. was incorporated in 1922. It has a Canadian patent date of February 5, 1918, and an American patent date of July 30, 1918. The extinguisher, including the front label, is in excellent condition for its age. There are no dents or major scratches. The extinguisher has been cleaned at some point in time.  The fire extinguisher has a very unusual operating method.  It uses a wheel valve to turn on and off as opposed to the usual pump handle.
    Extinguisher measures ~ 15” long with a diameter of 3”.  Please see photos for detail of condition.  It is Empty.
