  • Condition: Very Good-Excellent overall antique cond: Outstanding. 100% complete, intact, estate fresh & unadulterated, w/no additions or subtractions. A simply terrific, early 20th c American antique sign making artifact used for broadsides, public posts & stenciled labeling of wd box shipping crates. The finger-jnd pine wdn box containing the cut-out, reticulated brass alphabet & # stencils, along w/punctuation sheets, are made of 100% brass flat stock, cut-out to form the entire 26 letter English alphabet, #'s & oft-used punctuation symbols. The individual brass sheets have 2 rolled edges on each side. None of the brass sheets have any loss, folded edges or signs of prev abuse, other than evidence the set may have been prev used, if only infrequently. The brass stencils are accompanied by a stiff, short-haired, blk ox hair brush hnd applicator, w/lathe-turned wdn handle. The brush's orig to the set. The finger-joined box's mrkd 'Stencil Outfit' in blk ink. It has a wdn slide lid & finger tab.
