Vintage brass PRESTO CB fire extinguisher with a removable top. Manufactured by Merlite Industries, N.Y., N.Y. The extinguisher originally contained Chlorobromethane (CB) but is now
EMPTY
and is being sold as a collectible item only. The top comes off so that you can use it to store your "stuff". I've had several people ask for a removable top so that they could store registration papers, ashes of a deceased parent, cigarettes, etc. It is in overall excellent condition. It has been machine buffed, hand polished, a new Harley Davidson decal applied, and clear coated both inside and outside. Also included is a felt lined mounting clip. Measures approx. 5.5"h x 1.5" in diameter.
Unless my items are listed as New or MIB (Mint In Box/Bag) they are used, so expect there to be some wear and signs of usage.
